Core-Bell™ fittings are designed to make a water tight connection between a lateral sewer pipe (typically a small diameter PVC pipe) and a mainline sewer pipe (typically concrete).

It is also designed to make a watertight connection between sewer pipe and manhole or catch-basin (structure)
The design is unique that it requires no technical expertise or special tools to install, therefore easy for all on-site for installation and a watertight seal every time.
The Core-Bell™ fitting has a bell at one end with a gasket inside to receive the incoming or outgoing pipe.
This type of connection forms a typical bell/spigot gasket connection between the pipe and the Core-Bell™ fitting. The pipe, when inserted into the bell, compresses the gasket between the other wall of the pipe and the inside wall of the bell of the Core-Bell™ fitting. Compressing the rubber gasket makes a flexible watertight seal.
The Core-Bell™ Fitting has a spigot at the other end with a gasket around the other perimeter.
The spigot end is installed by pushing it into the core hole in the mainline sewer pipe (or structure) The Core-Bell™ fitting, when installed, compresses the gasket between the other wall of the spigot end the inside wall of the core hole. Compressing the rubber gasket makes a flexible watertight seal.
There are two shoulders on the Core-Bell™ Fitting. One is located on the outside to prevent the fitting from over insertion inside the concrete wall. The other shoulder is located on the wall inside and acts as a stopper for the lateral pipe.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Core hole to specified size e.g 6" (150mm) fitting has to have 7"(175mm) cored hole
2. Soap concrete edge, insert spigot end into cored hole and push.
3. Chamfer lateral connection pipe, soap chamfered-end only and push.
*No stainless steel clamps or expanding rings (no special tools required)
