Degree in Civil Engineering in 1985. 37 years of experience in Municipal Engineering working for Engineering Consultants, Municipalities and Manufacturers. Director of Engineering for Galaxy Plastics for the past 6 years focusing on the correct specification and installation of our products with Municipalities and Consulting Engineers across Canada. Prior to that was the National Specification Engineer for Royal Pipe with a team of 4 engineers responsible for specification and approval of all Royal products across Canada. With this background I can appreciate and anticipate the requirements of the Municipality and the Consulting Engineer often securing approvals where others have failed.
I am a member in good standing of the following Associations of Professional Engineering; Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia
Chair of Technical committee for CSA B1800 Standards for Thermoplastic non-pressure Piping and a voting member of the technical committee for CSA B137 Standards for Thermoplastic Pressure Pipe.
An officer of the ASTM F17 Committee for Plastic Pipe and fittings.
Voting member of the Standards Council of Canada Mirror committee for ISO (International Standards Organization) standards pertaining to Plastic Piping.
Voting member of AWWA C900, C907, C909 and M23 Manuals for PVC Pipe and Vice Chair of the AWWA Committee on the External Corrosion of Pipe and the M27 Manual External Corrosion Control for Infrastructure Sustainability.
Sit on the Board of Directors (2nd Term) for OPWA (Ontario Public Works Association) a division of APWA (American Public Works Association). OWPA representative for the Ontario Provincial Climate Change Impact Inititive.
Former Chair of the Technical Committee for the Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association representing PVC Pipe Producers in North America.
